I have had two sessions so far, and have to say that I am pleased with the staff and the process thus far. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have tattoos removed! The staff is knowledgeable and kind, and is really good about making sure you are comfortable and educated about the process and what to expect in terms of how many sessions it will take, the treatment, and healing process.

I have six tattoos being removed (various sizes from a small star to a 4x4 inch tattoo), and was quoted a very reasonable price to have all six treated. This includes the numbing agents applied before hand, the treatment, and the supplies required for bandaging (gauze pads, cotton balls, hydrogen peroxide, tape, band aids, Ointment, and ice packs). I never got any surprise fees or charges at any time, so I was able to walk in knowing exactly how much I could expect to pay.

I have to say that anyone who complains about the price doesn’t understand that taking a tattoo off is more expensive than putting it on; furthermore, you get what you pay for!! I am willing to pay a little extra for good service!!

Patricia, the woman who performs the treatments, is wonderful. She answers any questions you have, and always makes sure you are comfortable before beginning the treatments. She also lets you know how much longer she will be “zapping” each tattoo, i.e. “half way through”, and she is good about reminding you to breathe (LOL) sounds silly, but I am one who holds my breath with out even realizing it, and remembering to breath through the process helps with the pain ... at least it does for me).

If you want a polite and professional experience, go here! Highly recommended!! :)

I took a lot of time researching the removal process and the various clinics available to perform this service. I settled on TRLC for several reasons. First and foremost, they were honest with me. They did not try to sell me anything and were honest about how much money and time it would take to remove my tattoo, which is very large and would be very costly. I knew what I was signing up for. Second, they have a very professional, CLEAN environment. Patricia is the sweetest person and makes you feel so comfortable with a frankly uncomfortable process. She ensures that you are numbed, talks you through the entire session, and even spritzes aromatherapy, which is just a nice personal touch. :) I noted that another person said that they would not numb you, which is not true. Michael is very good about putting enough numbing cream on, which is why I have actually requested that he does this for me - and he will for free with no problem. Finally, they are very generous with supplies. I never have to ask for anything because they are already offering to fill my supplies.

I read other people who complain about the cost, but TRLC is willing to help and offer discounts. Also, it is important to remember that you get what you pay for. For this type of service, I am certainly not going to simply seek out the “cheapest” service. I want the best. I know that I was very nervous before I started this process and wanted some “proof” that it works. I can attest that it does work and the pain and healing is not that bad, especially with the new laser. If you are reading this because you are considering laser removal or TRLC, please feel free to contact me and I will share as much information as I can with you. I know that this is a big decision and commitment.

I have a horrible turquoise tattoo that has been very stubborn in the removal process. Since I started with them, they have upgraded their lasers twice, as the newest, latest lasers have been developed and I’m finally going to be rid of this one. They are committed to using the latest and greatest lasers and have provided me with the best that the industry has to offer. Michael and Tricia are very professional and honest about what to expect. I have a friend who went somewhere that promised her “fast’ removal and she has terrible scarring. TR Laser uses the most aggressive approach they can safely use without causing damage to your skin. It’s a real art and they know it well.

You will not find a more professional, compassionate, and caring facility to work with you through your tattoo removal process. Every individual and their tattoo is different and unique, but one thing is constant at TRLC and that is their concern for you! Removing my 25 year old tattoo containing shades of reds, blues and stubborn green ink was a challenge. From my initial consultation with Michael through my last treatment with Trisha I was very impressed with their professionalism. It was a very private and secure setting with unquestionably superior sanitation practices. I felt totally secure and in the hands of professionals. Having visited a couple other facilities prior to going to TRLC, I am really glad I decided to use TRLC. Two of my kids have tattoos and it’s just a matter of time before they too will be in Michael and Trisha’s very capable hands. They have my "well earned" highest recommendation.

If you’re regretting that tattoo since the day you got it and have decided to truly invest in your recovery, look no further than TRL. The staff is knowledgeable, very friendly, and the equipment is top of the line. I’ve investigated getting my tattoo removed for years, but really could never afford to get it done. I discovered some really shady places along the way. I finally bit the bullet and decided to do whatever it took to make this happen. I found my way to TRL and couldn’t be happier. It is an expensive process, but I can’t stress enough that you get what you pay for!!! We all want to believe there is an easy fix to removing a tattoo. Bottom line: there isn’t. I’ve almost been sucked in by other treatments promising me the moon and then I came to my senses and decided to do it right. I still have several sessions left, but I’m so grateful to have found a pristine environment, awesome equipment, and caring staff. There were no surprises. Michael took the time to explain everything. He didn’t make any 100% guarantees and explained a number of outcomes based on my situation. I appreciated his candor. He left me with the knowledge to make an informed decision and didn’t try to sell me on anything. Patricia is kind, caring, and has the magic touch! TRL is the only way to go. Don’t compromise! It’s one of the best gifts you’ll ever give yourself :)

Greatest & Safest laser tattoo removal clinic - Jul 2, 2010

Very satisfied with the first treatment I got at Tattoo Removal Laser. I've been searching for many years for a clinic that could safely remove my permanent eyebrow tattoo. I'm from Canada, and didn't find any suitable clinic with lots of experience in laser permanent makeup removal. With them, I didn't feel like I was a test subject like with many others (either in Canada or in the States); they are very honest and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all my questions over the phone, and when I arrived at the clinic, Michael analyzed and properly explained me the laser procedure. I didn't feel pressured; they are very specialized and gave me confidence in their capability to safely remove my old tattoo. Their service is number one, they managed to find some time for my first test (to make sure the ink will react normally to laser) and treatment the same day so I could rest one day before leaving home (short 3 day trip in San Diego). Patricia also explained very well all the post effects of the treatment that would occur, it was exactly like she told me. They called me the next day to make sure everything was going well. They gave me a very good explanation of all the post treatment care and a treatment kit to make sure everything goes smoothly.

I would strongly recommend Laser Tattoo Removal to anyone who wants to safely get rid of a tattoo. Thank you very much and I will be booking soon my next visit to San Diego!

Green is the hardest color to remove but the progress we are making at Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic is unbelievable. The new laser is speeding up the progress and I am so happy with the results. I’m not a guy to write reviews. However, after my experience at the Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic I felt like I had to. I would have given the clinic 10 stars if I was able to! Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic was the 4th clinic I visited before I decided to let trust them to removing my tattoo. I had already made one mistake (getting the tattoo) and didn’t want to make another in my choice for removal.

After it is all said and done and my tattoo is COMPLETELY GONE, I’m positive I made the right choice. They are completely professional, extremely knowledgeable and take pride in their work. I have referred friends to them and would highly recommend that if you are considering getting your tattoo removed, start at Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic!

I had only one tattoo removal session and the tattoo is almost all gone! You can barely even see that I had a tattoo in the first place. The staff were friendly and explained everything thoroughly. Today I had my second tattoo removal session and I can only say that this place is the best. From the first day of my consultation, they were able to treat me on the spot and treated me as if I was family, making me very comfortable and explaining the procedure in its entirety. With my 2 big tattoos on both forearms with ink deep in my skin, I thought it would be a hard process to get done. Today was my second treatment and I am so impressed by the removal. I was embarrassed by my tattoos I would try to cover them up all the time. After a long consideration I decided to go for it. I had my fourth treatment today and have been very happy with the results so far. If you read other user reviews, you can see that people come from all over the world to visit this place. They have the best laser equipment in the industry and focus only on tattoos.

Having a tattoo removed can be an embarrassing process, especially if you had one as offensive as mine. The staff realizes that people make mistakes and want to help. The prices are also very reasonable as well; they offer military, cash, referral and return discounts.

I've been going to Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic for four years. The results have been amazing, and the service even better. My ink was almost gone after two years of treatment. However, during the time I've been going, the clinic has started using a couple new technologies, both to reduce the amount of discomfort and to increase the results. The new equipment has pushed my results to the next level. The results have been amazing. My once ugly and very dark tattoo is now only two small blue-green dots that most people don't even know are there. I really appreciate how the staff has the best in mind for their patients and work to push even the smallest amount of ink out. The staff is not only friendly, but they truly care about the best possible result. They won't recommend treatment if they don't believe the patient will get significant results. I'd recommend Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic to anyone who wants to get rid of their ink.

I have had nothing but positive experiences since coming to Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic! I first came here in September of last year to have 4 tattoos removed, all at the same time. I am a US Marine applying to become an officer in the Marine Corps and was being held back by my several visible tattoos. The staff was completely professional, knowledgeable and helpful from day one! They worked hard to accommodate my short time line and continue to help me in every way they can. Not only are they super flexible with scheduling, but they have even written me official letters to turn in to the application board, to ensure I have the best chance possible at selection to the officer program.

The clinic itself could not be a better atmosphere. It’s almost a spa like experience. From aromatherapy to relaxing music and hand held stress balls, Tattoo Removal laser Clinic goes well above and beyond the expected customer service to ensure your experience is as positive as possible.

I have never for a minute felt judged in this clinic for my tattoos, which honestly, I was a little apprehensive about when I first decided to have my tattoos removed. I first went to the clinic two years ago to remove a big Japanese style tattoo on my arm (a half sleeve). We’re still working on it, but I’ve been so impressed with the results that I decided to start working on a second tattoo, and I had the first treatment today.

The clinic is absolutely fantastic, the equipment is state-of-the-art, the staff is competent, friendly, reliable. The follow-up is great. I did extensive research when I decided to remove my tattoos. I have been pleased with my choice, and 100% satisfied. I couldn’t be in better hands!

The ONLY Tattoo Removal Clinic I Would Recommend - Jan 24, 2010

When I turned 18 and just graduated from high school, I thought it would be a good idea to get a tattoo. I picked a cute little dolphin design off of the wall and got it on my upper back/shoulder area in teal blue with a black outline. At the time, little did I know that this teal blue color would prove to be THE hardest tattoo color to remove. After graduating from college and moving to the Phoenix area, I decided it was time to remove the tattoo because of its location on my body. My first tattoo removal experience was at a dermatologist’s office in Phoenix with a YAG laser. To say that it was an unpleasant experience would be putting it mildly! It was painful to have done, and the aftercare was a complete mess. The laser actually punctured my skin and I was bleeding down my back! After 5 or 6 treatments of this sort, and all of the messy aftercare and frustration to go along with it, I realized that my tattoo faded a lot but then stopped and was not getting any lighter. At that point, I stopped the treatments because I was moving to San Diego. That was when I discovered TRL. ...and what a pleasantly different experience it was! Upon my first consultation, I was greeted by Michael, who was very professional and informative. He explained to me that my color tattoo is one of the most difficult to remove, but with the new state-of-the-art laser that they have, he is almost certain that it is removable, I because a patient immediately! My first treatment was a very enjoyable experience. Patricia was very gentle and friendly and actually took the time to explain the process to me. Patricia and Michael were very concerned for the well-being and condition of my skin, did everything they could to prevent any scarring or discoloration, and took the time to provide me with adequate topical numbing agents. Patricia provided me with bottled water, candy, soothing spa music, and even aromatherapy to make the treatment more tolerable! After 5 treatments at this clinic, I see a drastic improvement in the fading of my tattoo. It should be completely off within this year! I am extremely satisfied with the service that I receive from TR Laser! I have already recommended them to two of my coworkers who are planning on having tattoo removal! Trust me, not all tattoo removal lasers and clinics are created equal. I learned that the hard way! You would be foolish to go anywhere else. It’s your skin and you have to keep it for the rest of your life, so do it right the first time!

A friend recommended A Tattoo Laser Removal Clinic to me. They met and exceeded my high expectations. Michael and Trish are both very professional and treat me like a highly valued customer. They explained the entire process and aftercare requirements up front. When I had a question, I called and got an immediate answer or prompt return phone call if the office was closed. The office is extremely clean, neat and organized, and the laser equipment is state of the art. The laser process is very quick (mine takes about 10 minutes) and the setting is relaxing. Yes, it’s slightly painful, but it’s over before you know it, and well worth it. I have had 4 sessions and probably need 2 more. I’m very pleased with the progress. They provided me with simple after-care instructions and after-care products, saving you from going to Rite-Aid and having to find and buy the items you need. The staff (Patricia and Michael) are very professional and are extremely knowledgeable about tattoo removal. These two are the experts! The office and treatment room are quite relaxing. I’ve had three laser treatments at Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic, and all my experiences have been great. The staff is extremely professional and provides excellent customer service. The nurse practitioner who performs the laser procedures is very knowledgeable, experienced, and makes you feel as comfortable as possible during the whole procedure.

I’ve also had great results on my tattoo. I had a tribal style tattoo with thick black lines, and it has faded a lot with each treatment. They provide detailed instructions and supplies for pre- and post-treatment care and are very helpful with answering questions. They also have lots of specialized equipment, so they can use the right type of laser for each treatment.

Overall, going to Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic feels like going for a spa treatment. The office also has a beautiful view of Mission Bay. Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic is pricey, but it’s well worth the extra money. I had one treatment previously at a different clinic, and the experience was terrible. Now that I’ve started treatments at Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic, I would never go anywhere else and I plan to complete the rest of my treatments there.

Not only was I amazed at the results I have met some of the nicest people dealing with their staff. Incredible Experience - Oct 29, 2009

I contacted Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic the day after I got my 2nd cover up on a tattoo. It was the day before 4th of July and Michael was more than happy to see me that afternoon for my consultation. He was very honest with what I could expect and didn’t get my hopes up, as they can’t guarantee results since everyone reacts differently to treatment. I didn’t feel like they were just trying to get money from me if I wasn’t going to be able to see results.

I made the decision on my own to proceed with the removal sessions and Michael immediately started me on a cleansing process using peroxide. I was amazed to see ink stream down my sides as my tattoo is located on my stomach. I just had my second procedure done yesterday and I can’t be more pleased. Both Michael and Patricia were very pleased with the progress I have made thus far and I would recommend them to anyone.

Great place and great results! I have been trying to remove a tattoo from my toe and had my first 3 treatments in Miami Plastic Surgeons office a few years ago. After the first 3 treatments (in Miami) I stopped because of the pain and lengthy healing process. After moving to San Diego I searched for a place that I can trust, and found Tattoo Removal Laser Clinic. I was so lucky to have found this place! First, the office is a tattoo removal clinic only (which made me pick it). Second, the office was upscale and very clean. And Third, the staff was very well educated, friendly and professional.

I have had 2 treatments at this clinic so far and I’m getting wonderful results. My experience was great and very little discomfort during the removal process. My healing time is has been much shorter too. Definitely 5 stars from me :) The staff goes above and beyond and I am seeing my tattoo disappear!
